Key Account Manager - Germany West

We are now looking for the right person to fill the opening as Key Account Manager - Germany West. This position will be home-office based and you have to be based in West of Germany within the zip codes starting with: 34-36, 54-56 and 6.
WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
You will be part of a very skilled Middle Europe Sales organization of approximately 95 people in total. Alongside 8 other colleagues you will report directly to Territory Sales Manager - Germany South, Sabina Eibel. The team is covering the South Germany in collaboration with other functions from End Customer Sales and Sales Engineer. This is of course, rounded out by a regional Marketing, Training & Distribution. And we are making the difference – together!
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A KAM?
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), it will be your job to head sales within a selected number of focused and developing accounts. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of business plans for these accounts, and it will be your job to set and continuously evaluate annual targets. You will handle these accounts daily acting as a professional interface between the accounts and Axis. Other responsibilities include:
Inspire our partners
Actively participate in trade shows, webinars and other promotional activities
Work closely with the sales team (other Key Account Managers, Account Managers, Inside Sales Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Key Account Managers End Customer) and other roles within your territory to support, inspire and educate Axis partners (Distributors, System Integrators & Resellers)
Provide the best solutions and ensure a good alignment with our partner ecosystem
Thrive business
Develop clear business plans for the selected accounts
Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up KPI's on these
Prepare sales reports with new and existing projects
Create value
Visiting your partners to maintain and develop the relationships
Collaborate with your partners to increase the Axis reach and presence within your territory
Visiting End-Users with the partners
Working on marketing activities together with the partners to attract new end-user opportunities
Work closely together with the system integrators; to develop the project pipeline and close projects
Travel within the territory, region and to Axis’ HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job.

Proven track record in sales, preferably within IT & security
High technical interest
Comfortable with solution selling preferable in the security industry
Experience of account management and developing accounts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in German & English languages, written and spoken
This is a senior role, hence we would love to see min 5 years of relevant experience
Experience from working with an indirect sales-model from a similar role within security is a plus. However, the greatest importance will be attached to your personality, attitude and mindset.
