Position Summary:

In the Channel Account Manager – Fire Protection position, you’ll drive sales growth and expand market presence for our fire protection division through effective channel management. By building strong operator relationships and identifying new business opportunities, you’ll deliver value-added solutions while providing strategic guidance to the Direct Supply sales team to ensure success in the fire protection market.

What You’ll Do and Impact:  

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in the fire market 

  • Maintains frequent face-to-face contact with the customers who most directly influence penetration. Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns. Addresses concerns and performance lapses. Understands the customer's business and speaks their language. Develops credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, providing product training, support, and guidance in the fire industry  

  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with channel partners to deliver value-added solutions in the fire market 

  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management in the fire industry 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth in the fire market 

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Direct Supply sales representatives in the fire industry, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement 

  • Because of your extensive experience and knowledge in fire protection, we’ll also look to you as a leader and consultant for larger complex projects and deficiency work completion to deliver Outrageous Customer Service. 

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth in the fire industry 

  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 25% 

  • Valid, unexpired driver's license with satisfactory driving record
