Finance Intern

As an intern, you will gain experiences and add value to several areas of Finance, which eventually means the full span of our P&L. Depending on the types of tasks, you will work with cross-category teams, customer-specific, and also whole company-related tasks, which will give you a deep understanding of the company.

The opportunity is for students preferably from Finance related field of study who is able to work 20-30hrs/week who would like to gain practical experience from corporate finance.

WHAT CAN YOU GAIN FROM THIS INTERNSHIP?

• You will gain a general knowledge about various fields in Finance, you will develop several Unilever-specific and finance-specific hard skills, while also gaining valuable soft skills.

• You will also get insight in different Finance-related systems (Excel, SAP, Power BI).

• in short term you can grow into Finance Analyst and in long term period you can develop into Finance Business Partnering role

WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY TASKS?

• Supporting National Finance team  

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports

• Contributing to month-end closing activities

• Tracking and analyzing monthly variances of actuals vs forecast

• Assisting in business case calculations and challenging financial assumptions

WHAT WE ARE EXPECTING FROM YOU:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to collaborate with all associates openly and effectively and an ability to meet deadlines.

• Good level of understanding of Microsoft Office - mainly Excel

• Ability to work within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.

• Motivated self-starter with a curious and flexible mindset

• Communicative level of Czech/Slovak and English

• Able to work on part time up to 20-30h/week
