HPE is hiring a Solution Architect to successfully lead Large complex solution delivery potentially across multi business units and technology domains.
Responsibilities:
- Be the overall Lead Solution Architect working closely with the customers’ (executive) stakeholders.
- Acting as a single point of contact from a solution perspective to the customer to build rapport and trust throughout the implementation leading to complete customer satisfaction.
- Operating as the Technical Design Authority across all technical aspects of solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives. Taking ownership of the solution outcomes ensuring that deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage technical issues, and challenges as they may arise. Prioritising escalations and coordinating cross business unit and third-party activities.
- Manage the production all artifacts relating to the solution providing clear direction in shaping the final outcome, through design reviews and feedback processes.
- Work in tandem with the Program Manager and delivery teams to establish the necessary interdependencies between solution components. Managing third parties where the solution dictates.
- Produce complete proposals for engagements within the Hybrid Cloud Operating Model aspects and actively grow HPE’s revenues with existing customers through new opportunities and change management.
- Engage with Managed Services to ensure that all required implementation activities are completed to enable a smooth transition to run.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of programs.
- Deliver presentations on Solution Architecture approaches and concepts to internal/eternal customers and stakeholders.
- Act as a team lead responsible for a team structure conducive to high performance and ensuring high quality deliverables which are on time, to budget and scope.
- Contribute to customer responses such as RFIs, RFIs and RFQs. Promoting HPE solutions and approaches, delivering clear, persuasive, and well-structured proposals.
- Effectively present/communicate program status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering transparency and alignment.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the technical teams, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance solution delivery and execution.
Education and Experience Required:
- University or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- Senior experience working as a Lead Solution Architect in large complex multi-domain delivery scenarios, with demonstrated success.
- Experience with enterprise implementations, DevOps environments, workload-led migrations and cloud environments
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth experience of architecting and delivering large scale complex projects across a wide range of industry sectors.
- Excellent communication skills and able to develop and maintain relationship with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for designing and scoping solutions, taking ownership of solution being delivered.
- Technically able to drive workload-led conversations in accelerating adoption/consumption outcomes with customers - for example: SAP HANA, VM/Containers, Machine Learning, Big Data, Backup & Protection, High Performance Computing , Cyber Security and VDI
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Knowledge, experience and comfort with leading organizational change across a broad set of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of principles, methodologies, techniques and frameworks for Solution Architects.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
- Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
- Strong leadership skills, including team-building and conflict resolution.
