Job Title: Financial Controller
Location:
Remote (EST Time zone)
Salary Range:
up to 4000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

The Financial Controller will oversee critical financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting, while contributing to strategic decision-making through Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals passionate about data-driven insights and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Develop financial models for business planning and forecasting.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Present variance analyses, budgets, and performance reports.


Bookkeeping:

  • Ensure accurate financial records and manage sales tax filings.
  • Coordinate with external providers for income tax compliance.


Payroll:

  • Prepare detailed payroll reports and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze payroll-related KPIs.


Accounts Payable:

  • Process payments for facilities and suppliers.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier statements and ensure timely disbursements.


Employee Management:

  • Oversee background checks, employment contracts, and payroll onboarding/offboarding.


Other Duties:

  • Manage inventory processes and accounts receivable.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, SQL, or NetSuite.
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with Power BI, data analytics, and KPI management.
