About the project:
The client is an American community bank that is building an online banking platform on the basis of Mulesoft and backoffice on Salesforce. Our team focused in developing integrations between various SaaS solutions.
The team consists of 17 people: Mulsoft, Salesforce, Devops, QA (manual and automation), Data, Business Analysts teams, Solution Architect, Scrum Master, PM, Security analyst.
There is a part of the team on the client’s side: Mulesoft, Devops, Data leads, product managers and product owners.
The team is in the European time zone, the client is in the EST time zone.
As for the methodology, we have Scrum on the project: 2-week sprints, daily meetings, retro and planning ceremonies.
Technology stack on the project and tools: Mulesoft, Salesforce, Nifi, AWS, Azure devops, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, Teams.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of Scrum Master experience within an IT company;
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban);
- Proactive and result-driven mindset with a focus on getting things done;
- English not lower than CEFR B2, C1 preferred;
- Convincing, engaging and effective communicator skills (including presenting skills);
- Strong organizational, negotiation, conflict resolution skills;
- Accountability and excellent time and priorities management skills;
- Self-reliance and strong common sense (critical thinking);
- Ability to search for necessary information quickly and efficiently;
- Ability to audit, set up and optimize scrum processes;
- Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with financial projects;
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Helps the team understand and adhere to the Scrum framework;
- Works with the team to establish and improve Scrum processes as needed;
- Facilitates Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives;
- Identifies and removes obstacles that impede the team’s progress;
- Supports the team by fostering self-organization and empowering them to make decisions;
- Focuses on the needs of the team to help them achieve their goals;
- Coaches team members on Agile principles, values, and practices;
- Encourages teamwork, openness, and transparency within the team;
- Collaborates with the Product Owner and Business Analysts to ensure the backlog is well-organized and ready for development;
- Leads retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and ensures actionable steps are taken;
- Promotes a culture of continuous learning and enhancement within the team;
- Assists the team in resolving conflicts effectively and constructively;
- Protects the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus on their goals.
