Job description

Job Description:  

We are looking for Sailing Representatives in Croatia (Tour Guides/Tour Managers) to join our Topdeck Team for the peak summer season 2025. The role will be contracted on a trip-by-trip basis. 

What does a Topdeck Sailing Rep do?

Sailing reps are responsible for the day-to-day running of Topdeck sailing trips. This involves but is not limited to: 

  • Bringing Croatia to life for passengers through top notch facts and story telling.
  • Liaising with the captain, local suppliers, and the Topdeck head office 
  • Managing trip expenses 
  • Socialising with passengers and giving support where needed
  • Initiating group activities 
  • Assisting organising option activities for passengers
  • Providing insider tips to passengers and assisting them to plan their own free time 
  • Respond to and follow all on-road incident management procedures 

As a Sailing Representative you can consider yourself an educator, a friend, a parent, a guidebook and an events planner rolled into one – and it goes without saying that you’ll always be a positive influence on the group.

We want Sailing Reps who: 

  • Are organised, with the ability to be flexible where required 

  • Can solve problems logically and creatively 

  • Have excellent communication skills 

  • Prioritise teamwork 

  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times 

  • Experience as a sailing representative is not essential but is advantageous
