The Product Owner of our Digital Experience is responsible for overseeing the vision, strategy and development of digital products and services. This role is the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams and end-users, ensuring the product aligns with customer needs and organizational goals. This individual will manage product backlog, priorities features and enhancements along with collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful digital experience.
This dual role includes both product and project management responsibilities, owning each initiative from governance approval through operational readiness. The position will include working directly with clients to communicate roadmap, demo existing and new functionality and solicit feedback on future opportunities.
- Product Vision and Strategy:
Defining the overall vision and roadmap for digital services, aligning it with business objectives and market trends.
- Product Backlog Management:
Creating, prioritizing, and maintaining a comprehensive product backlog of features, user stories, and requirements.
Gathering customer feedback, understanding user needs, and translating them into actionable product requirements.
- Collaboration with Development Teams:
Working closely with designers, developers, and engineers to ensure clear communication of product requirements and timely delivery.
Communicating product progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations with key stakeholders across the organization.
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Product Management Expertise:
Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and backlog management practices.
Basic knowledge of web technologies, software development processes, and system architecture.
Ability to empathize with user needs, conduct user research, and prioritize features based on customer value.
Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively convey product vision and requirements to cross-functional teams.
Data analysis skills to interpret user behavior and make informed product decisions.
Create and maintain product and project artifacts
Build business case, ROI and Cost/benefit analyses
