Your Role:
Project Overview & Deliverables: “Project Atlas” is a centralized, authoritative GIS platform intended for use across Imerys’ organization. This will provide a common, shared platform for planning, analysis, decision making, reporting, monitoring, and management.
This project is focused on collecting and organizing relevant GIS data to make official site maps for each Imerys location to incorporate into our ArcGIS Online platform.
Project Learning Objectives: Learning opportunities include GIS (desktop, online, and mobile apps), organization skills, familiarization with land management documentation and required items, and communication / interaction across multiple functional groups.
Ideal Candidates Are:
• Pursuing a degree in: Relevant field, e.g., GIS, Cartography, Land use planning, Civil/City Planning or eng and/or land resource management
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem Solvers: Enjoy collaborating to tackle challenges.
• Leaders: Demonstrate leadership in various settings, such as school clubs, sports
teams, or work projects.
• Authorized to Work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
