QA Engineer II REMOTE - COLOMBIA

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer II to join our quality assurance team. As a QA Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through systematic testing and continuous improvement processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to test planning activities.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Perform regression testing to validate software changes and improvements.
• Investigate and analyze reported defects, providing detailed and accurate information to facilitate resolution.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of test documentation.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely and effective bug resolution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience with Gherkin. (Must have)
• Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
