DevOps Engineer with Java

Our customer is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with wide practical knowledge of Kubernetes, and AWS and strong experience as a Java Developer to join the international team supporting the development and maintenance of a cloud-based innovating platform.

Your tasks

• Supporting production platform according to a schedule
• Developing and maintaining custom processors in Java and adhering to industry best standards, and client’s security requirements
• Maintaining an internally managed platform through bug fixes
• Developing abstractions over Kubernetes workloads
• Working on business logic for clusters
• Building productive networks with technical colleagues, participating in technical forums and user groups
• Demonstrating a strong working understanding of production systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve many problems on assigned systems with minimal support

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development background
• Minimum 3 years of Java development experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Experience writing RESTful APIs
• Understanding of software development process (CI/CD)
• Familiarity with test-driven development, clean code, and design patterns
• Knowledge of Jenkins/GitHub Actions
• Willingness to participate in a 12-hour/7-day on-call/support duty schedule
