Job description

What Are We Looking For

We are in search of a Customer Service Representative who will be working with our client based in the US. This role is pivotal within online retail spaces like Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok, where building and maintaining customer relationships is crucial for business and sustained growth.

You are the bridge between the customer and the company. You will monitor customer health indicators, usage data, and feedback to improve the customer experience.

Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal.

This role is 100% work from home.

In This Role, You Will

  • Managing inbound customer contacts via email, chat on eCommerce and social media platforms
  • Effectively handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback across multiple channels to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure prompt responses to tickets for efficient customer service resolution
  • Attending meetings and presentations to share ideas, identifying gaps and industry trends
  • Managing and responding to customer reviews within SLA
  • Creating email templates & FAQs to decrease response time and scale impact
  • Building basic reports, writing up call-outs (hits, misses, learnings related to CS)
  • Creating and maintaining a refund tracker and reporting sheet
  • Providing clear, concise, accurate, and timely communication to the right audiences (e.g. identify an issue with supply chain based on multiple customer contacts about damaged products and surface the issues to the appropriate Stakeholder in a timely manner)

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service
  • Experience in providing customer support through email and chat
  • Experience working in the E-Commerce industry
  • Experience with Shopify or other similar platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Basic computer skills and experience with filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts
  • Display a high level of interpersonal skills
  • Basic excel/Gsheet skills
  • Must be familiar with Slack
  • Good understanding of email/chat/TikTok etiquette
  • Good customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Tiktok shop is highly advantageous
