Job description

Are you a detail-driven payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We’re searching for a talented Payroll Advisor to support our Payroll Team in delivering accurate and efficient monthly payroll services for approximately 2,000 UK employees. If you’re passionate about precision and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!


Please note: This position is available as a 12-month fixed term contract.


What Will You Be Doing?


As a Payroll Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Processing starters, leavers, and contractual pay changes.
  • Administering and maintaining pension and benefit schemes.
  • Calculating and processing overtime, commission, and bonus payments.
  • Performing manual gross-to-net calculations to assist with queries.
  • Conducting reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Responding to employee queries via the ticketing system, meeting SLA deadlines.
  • Supporting the HR Operations Team and HR Business Partners with payroll-related queries.
  • Processing court orders, tax codes, and student loan notices from HMRC.
  • Managing sickness and absences in line with company policies.
  • Processing statutory and occupational leave payments.
