Role Responsibilities:

Manage the revenue accounting close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
Review contracts and analyze revenue recognition arrangements to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and related U.S. GAAP pronouncements
Provide decision support on complex revenue transactions and new product launches
Oversee the preparation and review of revenue related journal entries and reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Provide audit support for control and substantive testing
Perform various ad-hoc projects as needed

In this job, you will bring these skills:

5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition principles, with a mix of Big 4 accounting firm and private/publicly traded companies preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
Strong knowledge of billing procedures and systems
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency with NetSuite, Maxio, Salesforce preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement

Base salary range:

$136,000—$160,000 USD
