What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable, performant solutions across the technology stack (NodeJS, VueJS, MongoDB, Redis).

• Collaborate with the CTO and a distributed development team to design, develop, and deliver high-quality features.

• Enhance payment system functionality and third-party API integrations (e.g., Stripe, Twilio).

• Review code and provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

• Drive process improvements to help the team meet sprint goals consistently.

• Manage issue tracking workflows in GitHub to ensure effective team collaboration and productivity.

• Contribute to refining platform architecture to ensure scalability and reliability for a growing marketplace.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proven experience with:

  • Backend: NodeJS (Fastify or Express), TypeScript, MongoDB (Mongoose), Redis.

  • Frontend: VueJS (V3+), Vite, and optionally NativeScript for mobile apps.

  • APIs: GraphQL (Mercurius), third-party SDKs like Stripe and Twilio.

• Experience in architecting and improving functionality for payment systems or transactional features.

• Familiarity with AWS hosting environments, including ECS, Terraform, and cloud cost optimization.

• Experience working on two-sided marketplaces (e.g., platforms like Angie’s List, Yelp, or Uber) is a strong plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to deliver features on time.

• Passion for boating or prior experience in the marine industry is a bonus!
