As Manager Corporate Responsibility you play a key role in shaping our global business and supply chains for the future. You manage projects focused on social, environmental and product sustainability working closely with our teams across the company and our global supply chain. Your goal is to reduce our impact and improve sustainability performance.
Your Mission
- Lead the stichd Corporate Responsibility team to manage social, environmental and product sustainability, supporting their ability to deliver on their ambitions for the future of the Corporate Responsibility in stichd.
- You are responsible for the supply chain social compliance process and documentation, coordinating with the auditing partners for new and existing supply chain facilities proactively minimizing the risk for both stichd and the brands that we represent
- Support and prepare for compliance with upcoming sustainability laws and related data requirements ensuring its integrity while researching and proposing solutions to enable stichd to meet the deadlines and expectations.
- You are responsible for liaising with our internal partners responding to requirements and alignment with the multiple brands that we work with demonstrating that stichd is a dynamic and responsible partner
- Champion the Corporate Responsibility strategy through collaboration with your team, the wider stichd community and Puma business
- Create a dynamic and inspiring environment for the Corporate Responsibility team to develop their skills and realize their ambitions.
- Actively support your manager to create a strong team across all functions that are working in an environment in which they feel empowered to reach their full potential.
Your Talent
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any type of environmental and/or social sustainability field, or garment and textiles;
- At least 5 years of experience in either a sustainability related role or a supply chain/ product related role;
- A good understanding of the apparel sustainability landscape, products and materials
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Technically proficient in systems and have a comprehensive understanding of sustainability platforms
- Can bring practical solutions to complex problems in order to get things done
- Not afraid of getting your hands dirty, able to build and maintain structure and systems, good with data.
This role is based in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
To be considered for this position, you must be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for a work permit.
