Our client is seeking a Remote eCommerce Merchandising Specialist to join their team in the US. Reporting to the CMO, you will be responsible for managing the overall financial performance and strategic direction of your portfolio and related third-party marketplaces. You will oversee product selection, pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional marketing collaboration to ensure their website and related brands are positioned competitively within the market. To be chosen for this role, you must have experience with both direct-to-consumer and 3P marketplace models. This role is pivotal in revenue and profit generation, requiring a candidate with a strategic, analytical mindset when evaluating assortment strategies and managing vendor relationships. [REMOTE] eCommerce Merchandising Specialist (eCommerce category exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Define and oversee product selection for the website
• Assess SKU performance and conduct SKU rationalization
• Manage and nurture vendor relationships including cost negotiation
• Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations
• Set and adjust pricing for retail and wholesale channels
• Monitor inventory levels and help address vendor issues
• Balance profitability and competitiveness in pricing strategies
• Partner with marketing department to plan website & sales promotions
• Expand product reach on third-party platforms
• Generate weekly sales, profitability & SKU Performance reports
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research
[REMOTE] eCommerce Merchandising Specialist (eCommerce category exp. req.) Qualifications
• 3+ years of eCommerce DTC merchandising experience required
• Experience creating pricing strategy within retail and wholesale channels required
• Experience overseeing KPIs for assigned eCommerce categories experience required
• Strong background managing vendors including price negotiation required
• Well-versed in managing third-party merchandisers required
