Job Title: Android Developer (1-3 Years Experience)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Android Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Android application development, proficiency with advanced tools and frameworks, and a collaborative approach to building innovative and high-performing applications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
  • Implement Dependency Injection using Dagger/Hilt frameworks for efficient and scalable code.
  • Leverage Kotlin Coroutines for effective asynchronous operations.
  • Integrate and optimize app features using the Google Maps SDK and other location-based services.
  • Work on specialized functionality involving sensors (gyroscopes, accelerometers, Bluetooth beacons, etc.).
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams to design and expand the application's features and user experience.
  • Ensure robust and maintainable code through unit tests, functional tests, and compatibility tests.
  • Optimize app performance with tools for benchmarking and performance monitoring.
  • Manage app deployment and updates on the Google Play Store, including handling versioning and security fundamentals.
  • Develop expertise in push notification services to enhance app interactivity.
  • Focus on code hygiene by implementing linting, CI/CD pipelines, and best coding practices.
  • Work with WebViews, session management, app metrics, and third-party SDK integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with Android Native SDKs and third-party SDK integrations.
  • Familiarity with the mobile app landscape, architectures, and emerging trends.
  • Understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and ES6 is a plus.
  • Exposure to security fundamentals and knowledge of mobile app best practices.
