VIP Travel Agent (Remote)

In this role, you will perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers and be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.).

This position is dedicated to relocation travel. You will be the primary point of contact for global relocation travelers and occasionally executive-level travelers. You will provide active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling related products. This is for a Life Science account.

As a VIP Travel Agent you will

• Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
  
  

About You

• Experience in VIP travel
• Extensive international experience is a must including passport/visa requirements
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Strong skills in GDS Sabre
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with attention to detail on email etiquette
• Strong MS Office skills
• This is a blended position, both voice and email transactions
• Experience working in a team environment and also independently
• Ability to work closing shift through 8:30pm ET

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of VIP Travel Consultant is between $55,000 and $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
