Overview
The Salesforce Service Cloud Developer plays a vital role in our organization by leveraging the Salesforce platform to enhance customer service delivery. This position is essential for developing and customizing solutions that facilitate seamless communication between clients and support teams. By focusing on the implementation and integration of Salesforce Service Cloud features, developers ensure that our customer service operations are efficient, effective, and scalable as our business grows. The role requires expertise in Salesforce technologies, particularly Service Cloud, to design tailored solutions that improve customer satisfaction and reduce operational costs. This developer will collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into innovative solutions. A solid understanding of customer service principles and practices, along with technical proficiency, will enable the developer to contribute significantly to enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize Salesforce Service Cloud applications and features.
  • Implement APIs for integration with third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Design and build custom Lightning components for enhanced user experience.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging of applications.
  • Optimize existing Salesforce solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce Service Cloud users.
  • Ensure best practices for data management and security within the Salesforce environment.
  • Develop training materials and documentation for end-users and internal staff.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and implement new features as required.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration with other systems.
  • Assist in the development of reports and dashboards to improve service metrics.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and make recommendations for enhancements.
Required Qualifications
  • Min 5yrs of experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Aura and LWC
  • Must have experience in Salesforce Apex, Lightning Aura and Web Components development.
  • Must have experience building integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and Single Sign-On.
  • Nice to have hands-on experience with migrating changes from development to test to production environment(s) using COPADO.
  • Well-versed with various Salesforce metadata APIs, deployment methodologies, code coverage & release process
  • Ability to effectively debug and resolve production issues and system defects.
