Overview
The Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solution. This position is crucial for providing technical oversight, ensuring that the CPQ implementation aligns with business objectives, and meets customer requirements. The Technical Lead will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions while mentoring team members and managing project timelines. As a key stakeholder in the Salesforce ecosystem, this role requires a deep understanding of CPQ processes, Salesforce functionalities, and an ability to lead complex technical projects. With the growing demand for tailored solutions in sales processes, the Technical Lead's expertise is vital for optimizing pricing strategies and enhancing the overall efficiency of sales operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and configuration of Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the technical implementation of CPQ best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members in CPQ development and customization.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues within the CPQ setup.
  • Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other applications and platforms.
  • Create and maintain CPQ documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on CPQ functionalities and best practices.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of CPQ deployments.
  • Monitor CPQ performance and optimize configurations for better efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders to make informed decisions about feature enhancements.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce CPQ upgrades and new features for continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support during rollout and after the implementation.
  • Participate in project planning and resource allocation.
  • Drive the continuous improvement process for CPQ-related initiatives.
