Job Summary

The Investment Administration Analyst II is responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of investment-related processes and tasks with precision and efficiency. This role involves monitoring and processing fund changes, managing corporate actions, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with internal departments, advisors, and investment managers. The analyst will evaluate daily tasks and ensure the team meets deadlines. This position requires exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor incoming fund change cases in Salesforce. Evaluate requests, determine necessary processing, and communicate accordingly within strict timeframe.
  • Review and process fund changes on internal recordkeeping systems. 
  • Work with advisors to facilitate and schedule fund changes. Complete fund additions across multiple custodians and identify/resolve potential issues.
  • Verify that all investment change requests are processed completely and accurately and provide proof to clients within strict timeframe.
  • Review accounts during pre-determined time frames to determine if residual processing is needed for any prior investment changes and coordinate accordingly.
  • Monitor and review emails from fund companies and custodians regarding corporate actions. Analyze the information to identify impacted clients, generate necessary reports, and communicate findings to internal departments and/or clients in a timely and accurate manner to ensure appropriate action is taken. 
  • Responsible for ensuring department meets deadlines and stays within predetermined accuracy standards.
  • Process escalation items from both internal and external requests. Evaluate each individual scenario and determine appropriate course of action based on various factors and manage timely resolution.
  • Work with manager to identify and update and document training manuals to be used for training opportunities within the Investment Administration team.
  • Provide daily support to team members, act as a go-to person for the department and be available to answer questions regarding daily processing and deal with escalated and/or complex items.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 3-4 years experience working with retirement plans/financial industry and/or organizational equivalence.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with focus on Excel.
  • Ability to exercise independent, mature judgment, prioritize tasks & maintain confidentiality required. 
  • Proven ability to work in high pressure environment with deadlines. 
  • Possesses the ability to display a range of characteristics, including calmness under pressure, a positive attitude, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.  


Remote Work Information

Compensation Information

The average salary for this position is expected to be between $45,000 and $75,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
