Position Overview 

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to the CEO to provide seamless support and assist with the day-to-day operations at the highest level. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and resourceful professional to work closely with the CEO and play a key role in shaping the future of Leap. 

 


Responsibilities 

 

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide high-level administrative and project management support by managing the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel, while ensuring efficient time management and communication. They will assist in the execution of strategic initiatives, lead and track project progress, and act as a liaison between the CEO, internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. The role involves and is not limited to organizing key events, preparing materials for meetings, managing confidential information, owning various projects, and streamlining operational processes. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will support the CEO with both professional and personal tasks as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency and organizational success. 

 


Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or in a similar senior administrative support role
  • Located in or around Columbia, MD or Baltimore, MD with the ability to work remotely from home
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a tech, or software development environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and handle time-sensitive matters with a high level of professionalism.
  • Project management experience – ability to lead various projects from beginning to end, showcasing initiative and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in anticipating the needs of the CEO.
  • A proactive and resourceful problem solver with a positive attitude.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented work culture.
