Job Description

As a HelloConnect Senior UI Designer, you will use your skills in UI to raise the bar of UI and interaction design in your domain, considering consumers' needs. To achieve this goal, you’ll utilise information on attitudes, behaviours, processes, and systems to your best advantage. You’ll work closely with international UX teams and stakeholders to zoom in on the individual and zoom out to understand the larger systems at play so we enrich the product direction and de-risk big bets. You will design new product and service concepts/prototypes and conduct validation to gauge concept desirability and provide insights on the next steps towards implementation. You will align your prototype work with established Design Systems to ensure scalability and shareability for other UX Designer roles.

What you’ll do

• Partner with other product designers to excel at their craft and nurture growth.

• Utilise best practices around design system-related patterns

• Form close relationships with POs, engineers, researchers and UX writers / content strategists to push UX to solve the broader user problem, using influence and persuasion to challenge broader assumptions within internal products.

• Design flows and experiences (UX/UI) yourself that are elegant and joyful.

• Understand the user journey and build relationships with stakeholders to ideate and influence on behalf of these users.

• Partner with your fellow UX team to smooth communication and amplify your output.
  

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of product UX design experience.

• A portfolio of work showing joyous experiences that have an impact.

• Skills and expertise in executing, critiquing, and mentoring in visual & interaction design

• Proven experience with Figma and fluency with other digital design and prototyping tools.

• Excellent English communication skills.
