Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Content and Insights Lead to take the reins of Marketplace Pulse, our flagship research and analytics platform within Threecolts. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the voice of Marketplace Pulse, produce data-driven insights, and elevate its presence as a thought leader in the e-commerce industry.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in content creation, a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, and the ability to connect data insights to actionable outcomes. This role offers the unique opportunity to own and grow a flagship platform, combining creativity, analytics, and strategic vision to influence the future of e-commerce.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Content Creation and Strategy:
  • Produce and publish engaging, data-driven articles weekly.
  • Leverage e-commerce trends, seller data, and marketplace dynamics to create compelling content.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to grow the platform's audience and influence.
  • Oversee CMS operations, ensuring content quality and consistency.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
  • Use tools like SQL, Highcharts, and scraping systems to analyze and visualize data trends.
  • Extract actionable insights from e-commerce data and translate them into articles and reports.
  • Manage and troubleshoot the scraping infrastructure and ensure data accuracy.
  • Platform Management and Growth:
  • Expand Marketplace Pulse's influence by engaging with the media, journalists, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement strategies for commercialization, including monetization through subscriptions, partnerships, and sponsored content.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to maintain and enhance the website's infrastructure.
  • Team and Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with external contributors, internal teams, and business leaders to align content and insights with business objectives.
  • Maintain an authoritative and independent voice while aligning with Threecolts’ vision


  • Requirements :
  • 8+ years of experience in content creation, editorial leadership, or data-driven roles, ideally in e-commerce, tech, or analytics-focused industries.
  • A proven track record of owning and growing platforms, products, or content-driven initiatives with measurable results.
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to connect content strategy to business objectives and growth opportunities.
  • A strong understanding of e-commerce trends and dynamics, with a passion for exploring and explaining the industry.
  • Comfortable engaging with the media and establishing yourself as an authority in the space.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and external partnerships while ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • A forward-thinker who can balance big-picture planning with hands-on execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to align teams and contributors around shared goals.
  • Experience in SEO, online marketing, and social media promotion to grow audiences and engage readers.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Amazon, TikTok, and other e-commerce players, and the ability to leverage data insights to create content.
  • Strong technical acumen, including experience with scraping tools, database management, and data visualization platforms.
