Job description

What to expect
Caspar Health was founded in 2016 and is setting new standards for the rehabilitation market. We enable people to regain and maintain their independence after an illness or accident.
With new technologies and our close partnership with rehabilitation clinics, patients get access to the most effective digital rehabilitation with concurrent personal care - independent of time and location.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer (all genders) with excellent skills in React Native to join our team in Berlin. 

You should be excited in tackling challenging problems, willing to take responsibility and love working in a powerful team. You will be responsible for developing intuitive and easy-to-use frontend applications for our users and directly interact with our Product Team, R&D, Customer Success Management and others to deliver a great user experience and product.
Your Challenges
  • Work in a cross-functional team using Scrum
  • Take the responsibility for driving the Caspar Health applications from day one
  • Develop intuitive and easy-to-use frontend and mobile applications for our users
  • Use your field of expertise to improve Development and Design Processes
  • Interact closely with our design and product team, R&D, CSM and Caspar Clinic
Your profile
  • You have sound experience with RN (React Native)
  • You have several years of experience in Web/Frontend Development, Mobile is a plus.
  • You are an expert in JS frameworks (React, Angular…)
  • You have a strong interest in other development areas, like mobile and backend development - you have seen Node.js, TypeScript and/or Ruby on Rails before
  • You have experience with E2E testing frameworks like Cypress
  • You are familiar with state management frameworks like RxJS or Redux
  • You have a good understanding of CSS and UI creation
  • You have a high bar for quality of code, performance, and user experience
  • You enjoy being up-to-date with latest technologies and are comfortable trying new things
  • You can think through customer requirements to come up with high-impact ways of quickly solving their problems
  • Ideally you have experience with Materials library or any other design system
