Position Overview

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that generates high-quality B2B leads, strengthens our brand presence, and aligns with our ambitious growth goals. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a proven, results-oriented marketing expert with a deep understanding of the B2B fintech / payment landscape.


Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition across Canada and the USA.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
2. B2B Lead Generation:
  • Design and implement targeted campaigns that deliver a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads for the sales team.
  • Leverage digital channels (e.g., SEO, PPC, email, and social media) and traditional methods (e.g., events, webinars) to optimize lead generation efforts.
3. Targeted 1:1 Marketing:
  • Develop and execute personalized account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to engage high-value prospects.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align on key accounts and tailor messaging to resonate with decision-makers.
4. Branding & Messaging:
  • Enhance and maintain a compelling brand identity that resonates with our target audience and reflects our core values.
  • Oversee content creation, including thought leadership articles, case studies, and product collateral, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
5. Collaboration:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with external agencies and vendors to amplify marketing efforts.


Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on B2B lead generation and branding.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Expertise in targeted 1:1 marketing and ABM tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and optimize campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a significant advantage.
