We are seeking a talented individual to join our Private Wealth team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB).

You will be based in either our Bournemouth or London offices.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Remote working in other locations is possible but you would be required to attend an office occasionally for training purposes.

As a Client Support you will provide support to both existing and potentially new Clients in the delivery of holistic advisory services through effective communication with all related parties (Clients, Financial Planners, New Business Team, Paraplanners, Administrators and Providers)

We will count on you to:

  • Work together with the Financial Planners, Advice Delivery Manager, Paraplanners and Administrators to ensure a smooth workflow for you team
  • Ensure Client Service Agreement requirements are met
  • Ensure procedures are adhered to
  • Maintain and update our client database
  • Prepare meeting packs
  • Respond to ad hoc client enquiries
  • Deal with technical aspects of client queries and help/assist administrators where required
  • Ensure compliance with Mercer’s best practices and standards

What you need to have: 

  • Previous admin based experience with the Financial Services industry
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Competency in the use of MS Office applications

It is likely that the ideal candidate is currently working for a Financial Advisers as an Administrator or as part of a Client Support team working on a high case load
