About the Role

This role is the first People person on the team, and will be overseeing all HR/Recruiting. As the HR Specialist focusing on Talent Acquisition and HR Operations, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our team and ensuring operational excellence. You’ll bring experience from a high-growth tech startup, an eye for top talent, and a knack for streamlining HR processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to building a best-in-class team while shaping the foundation of our HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and craft targeted recruitment strategies.

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.

  • Proactively source top talent through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and referrals.

  • Build and nurture a strong employer brand to attract high-caliber candidates.

HR Operations:
  • Oversee core HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, HRIS updates, and compliance.

  • Streamline and implement efficient HR processes, balancing speed and scalability.

  • Act as the go-to person for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and execute initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.

  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and other operational needs in collaboration with external vendors.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of HR experience, preferably within a fast-growing tech startup or a similar dynamic environment.

  • Operational Excellence: Hands-on experience optimizing HR processes for efficiency without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English , with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization; German is a plus.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using modern HR tools and ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby, Deel).
