WHO
we’re looking for:
We are
looking for a Sales Representative - Education/Training who will be responsible for Pre-sales support of all customer demonstrations and proof of concepts for display technology, software and services primarily focused on interactive flat panel displays. You will support events, shows, and customer/partner engagements. You will also be responsible for Post-sales training/professional development delivery in the education vertical.
Role
and Responsibilities:
-
Provide professional development and ongoing support to education customers and build long term relationships acquiring future hardware, software and services sales.
- Deliver in-person and virtual demonstrations in front of educators and district personnel for K12 and Higher Education institutions.
- Gather customer requirements and develop customized professional development offerings focused on learning outcomes to improve student engagement and teacher effectiveness.
- Use strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and maintain a focused execution to manage a regional territory.
- Be a Brand advocate and raise awareness with all education accounts with hardware, software, services and professional development.
Required Experience and Education:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a classroom and teaching certification is required.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Strong understanding of education pedagogy and technology requirements with demonstrated success of delivering high quality professional development.
- Embrace technology and experience with training and lesson development.

- Live in/near a large metro area with access to a major airport.
- Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 80% of the time) - Overnight travel may be required.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include
ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the
eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display
terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged
periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing
high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and
moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs
work under time schedules and stress which are normally
periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,
intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project
management deadlines. May require working additional time
beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
