The Role:

As a Legal Counsel, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the continued success of our business. Advising on a wide range of commercial, corporate, and compliance activities, you will collaborate with the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel as a key member of our Legal, Risk and Governance function. What You'll Do:

• Act as the primary legal business partner for key functions, providing effective and pragmatic advice on legal and risk-related issues.
• Lead negotiations and draft commercial agreements, including contracts related to procurement, clinical trials, IT, and staffing.
• Advise on legal issues, risk management strategies, and compliance with regulatory and data privacy requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of governance policies, legal systems, and operational procedures.
• Deliver legal training to internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external legal advisors.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations to apply best practices in business operations.

What You'll Have:

• A UK-qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
• 4+ years of experience, with prior in-house experience highly beneficial.
• Strong knowledge and experience in commercial law.
• Experience in the life sciences or healthcare sectors (highly beneficial).
• Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and build strong relationships across the business.
