WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
Opus agency seeks a Sr. Producer to manage a portfolio of live events, expos and activations from concept through onsite execution. This role is highly client-facing as the Opus voice of production for the project and the team. Primary responsibilities are to lead projects and be the main client liaison, oversee project teams, collaborate with creative leads to develop concepts for engaging experiences, coordinate with technical staff and vendors on all facets of production including fabrication, staging, scenic design, lighting design, broadcast and audio-visual components.
Must have an extensive background in event production that includes developing and managing budgets, project timelines, production plans, and show flows. Must also have a deep understanding of producing expos, managing creative, media and digital components and strong client management. 
YOU SHOULD HAVE 
  • 7+ years of experience as a Producer in a client-facing role
  • A passion and curiosity for all aspects of events
  • Strong Expo, Keynote and Breakout production experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven experience developing and managing multi-faceted, complex budgets 
  • Extensive experience managing / supervising teams
  • Ability to manage all production elements including creative, media, digital components
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Expert in multi-tasking
  • Technology expertise and fluent in business operations platforms including Google Suite, Microsoft programs and other productivity tools
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Exude positivity and optimism at all times
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Provide production strategy and guidance to clients and project teams
  • Be the point of contact for clients regarding all production elements and timelines
  • Develop and manage project budgets, change orders and final reconciliation
  • Manage vendor negotiations and payments
  • Manage and lead project team throughout all phases of production
  • Lead and foster a collaborative team environment to assure all deliverables are met
  • Work closely with your Technical Director to analyze and fulfill the equipment and labor requirements
  • Work closely with your Creative Director on creative vision and execution
  • Create and manage all show documentation
  • Ensure flawless execution onsite

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $105,000 and $133,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
