GENERAL SUMMARY
Project Coordinator, Revenue Optimization – The Project Coordinator administers a broad range of duties to support Distribution and Revenue Management objectives including the Central Services, Database Services, Booking Engine and Revenue Management departments. Many of these include, but are not limited to, meeting minutes, invoicing, internal and external communications (company Intranet and Extranet), survey facilitation, tracking and verifying certification requirements, reporting and CRM management. The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth for both member hotels and PTG. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Revenue Optimization & Distribution and works closely with the Vice President, Revenue Management Services and all Regional Vice Presidents of Revenue. There is daily interaction with the Central Services Department, Data Services Department, Global Hotel Revenue Management team, Finance and IT/CRM. There is regular interaction with outside partners including PTG’s central reservations and distribution services providers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Coordinator requires cross-departmental collaboration to coordinate and handle varied tasks critical to hotel and company operation. The duties themselves provide wide exposure to revenue optimization and multiple departments (ie, Sales, Finance, Creative Services, Marketing, etc.).
Tactical Coordination
a. Invoice Reconciliation
b. Recording and tracking of regular meeting minutes, including but not limited to Weekly Distribution Meeting, Monthly and Global Revenue Management Meetings, varied Task Forces and Quarterly Department Meetings.
c. Tracking and communicating hotels added to/removed from portfolio for external vendors per contract
d. Updating of PTG Extranets on a daily basis with updates, news items, content changes and technical upgrades
e. Communication to field of regular news items via targeted newsletter
f. Updating of PTG Intranet (“Front Desk”) on a regular basis with updated content and news items
g. Tracking Revenue Account Manager certification milestones and facilitating testing and external requirements where needed
PTG Consulting and Distribution
h. Support PTG Consulting and Distribution (Reservation Database Services, Central Services) on any needed supporting tasks such as but not limited to audit reporting, hotel communications, agency commission payments, rate loading, etc.
Revenue Optimization
i. TMC reporting
j. Tracking and reporting of goals for varied project task forces
k. Reporting for Key Management/Ownership groups
l. Ongoing QA of CRM for critical revenue management items
m. CRM Optimization for teams (i.e., cases vs. opportunities, tracking)
n. Updating of corporate and regional optimization dashboards and reports
o. Ongoing reconciliation of billing for ProTools and other billable services
p. Support overall operation of department and other projects as instructed by Senior Vice President for Revenue Optimization & Distribution, Chief Revenue Officer or President.
q. Responsible for documenting brand META process and optimizing campaigns using through third party campaign software and the Preferred CRS.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Project management skills.
- Strong written skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Planning and organization competencies.
- Excellent relationship building skills and customer service orientation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Some hotel, travel, or hospitality industry experience or education preferred.
- Desire to learn and grow within the Hotel Distribution, Revenue Management, and Reservations Department.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role follows a hybrid working model, with a base out of one of the following Preferred Travel Group office locations: Newport Beach, CA or Chicago, IL. Associates are generally expected to work from the office 2-3 days per week, allowing for a balance of in-person collaboration and flexible remote working. Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools. Employee is seated most of the time.
PTG REQUIRED TRAINING
1. New Associate Orientation.
2. CRS, GDS, CRO, CRM, Power BI and pertinent applications training.

Salary range: USD $17.78-22.60/hour; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise.
