Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Total hours: 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Texas time (or 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Manila time)
  • With 1 hour unpaid break in between

Client location or time zone: Texas, USA - CST

Company/client overview:
The client runs a company that operates nightclubs and restaurants. They have a large accounting team of around 40 people to handle their financial operations and compliance requirements as a public company.

Responsibilities:
  • Start with accounts payable data entry
  • Potential expansion to other accounting areas in the future
  • Enter accounts payable invoices into the company’s system
  • Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts
  • Ensure data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide administrative support in the finance department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Effective communication skills.
