Job description

Position Summary

The Project Manager is a key player ensuring success across the Marketing team and is responsible for managing projects from ideation through completion.  The Project Manager will support team members with consistent communication and support projects and campaigns through the brand and performance media teams. The Project Manager will typically support 1-2 functional areas within marketing and is responsible for identifying operational and team efficiencies and improved business processes for those functions.  This role is responsible for coordinating people and resources efficiently to complete projects successfully, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively. This role will complete project planning documentation through identifying requirements, milestones, risks and dependencies.

Essential Functions:

Project Management:

  • Oversee project scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables to support business goals across agile and waterfall project management environments.
  • Drive projects to meet project deadlines, monitor and track projects to report on progress to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution while playing an active role in providing solutions and making decisions where applicable.
  • Actively work to identify and remove issues that may affect scope, deadlines, or budgets.
  • Across all projects identify responsibilities/activities by individual and team and support with project management tools.
  • Provide communication support to internal teams and partners with which marketing team collaborates, creating visibility to overall project plans and assigned responsibilities.

Project Management Planning & Reporting:

  • Build roadmaps, project plans and project charters to outline project milestones, risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
  • Create project plans and identify and assign tasks to execute projects; report on project progress.
  • Create and adhere to quarterly project calendars for assigned teams within Marketing department; contribute to overall Marketing project calendars.

Increase Team Efficiency:

  • Identify and implement improvements that streamline business processes.
  • Drive solutions for operational efficiencies and strategic prioritization; as appropriate identify technical solutions to improve team productivity on project management platforms.
  • Build and develop project teams to ensure maximum project performance.
  • Ensure projects align with testing, QA and approval processes as applicable to drive toward quality assets.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field.
  • 3 plus years of experience or an equivalent of education and experience, required.

Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple and concurrent complex projects through the full lifecycle
  • Experience with Jira preferred
  • Project management certifications preferred (CSM, CAPM, PMP)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, planning and problem solving skills
  • Must be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and guide project teams to successful project completion
  • Excellent team player and team builder
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse personality types
  • Must have exceptional decision-making ability and drive toward solutions that are beneficial across the organization
  • Must be a strong communicator and have exceptional negotiation skills

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.  Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
