About the role

The position of the Implementation Consultant requires candidates with a strong combination of people skills and technical know-how. This is a client-facing role, so excellent communication skills are required. We are looking for applicants who are entrepreneurial, incredibly bright, organized, focused, creative problem solvers, able to work independently, extremely hard-working, and who embrace the home office-based lifestyle. You will be joining an elite group of practitioners at BigHand with all these qualities.

What you’ll do

The role encompasses a combination of consulting and technical duties, including but not limited to:

  • Work directly with our law firm clients to implement and support BigHand's products and solutions.
  • Manage client product implementations.
  • Provide industry and product subject matter expertise.
  • Participate/lead requirements gathering sessions.
  • Deliver client training.
  • Design, development and test client-specific customizations and enhancements. 
  • Occasional on-site travel to client sites across North America.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong development skills and experience:
    • Knowledge of T-SQL is required at a minimum, any additional tech stack knowledge is a bonus.
    • Our technologies are SQL Server (relational database, T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS) plus HTML5, Angular JS, C# and others. While we prefer experience with these technologies, we will consider any technical background.
  • Core consultancy skills, including strong communication and people skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience in Legal IT is a big plus, but is not require.
