Content Marketing Specialist (Remote / Work-from-Home)


Job Summary:


Gerent is a top Salesforce implementation partner looking for a full-time Content Marketing Specialist with a passion for Salesforce and/or CRM software technologies. This exciting role is performed remotely and the successful candidate will be able to work in a progressive organization supporting the world’s #1 CRM solution, Salesforce.


Our Marketing department is looking for a detail-oriented creative who can take ownership of Gerent’s multichannel content strategy. Our ideal candidate is an eager self-starter with an analytical mindset; this person should be able to guide content strategy development, manage Gerent’s extensive content library, and produce a variety of value-adding assets in partnership with our in-house subject matter experts. 


Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with subject matter experts, technical stakeholders, and customers to ideate, develop, and promote timely, value-adding thought leadership content (including blogs, infographics, videos, testimonials, case studies, web copy, white papers, etc.). 

  • Develop and periodically refine a quarterly content calendar; own project management for all in-progress assets. 

  • Write social media posts and collaborate with Gerent’s social media lead to develop new campaign strategies and post formats.

  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify content trends and emerging audience interests, as well as fuel strategy development for marketing content and social media.

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews to confirm progress to end-of-year content/social performance goals and make data-driven strategy adjustments. 

  • Manage Gerent’s internal content library to ensure proper asset organization and accessibility.

  • Manage, update, and set strategy for Gerent’s YouTube channel. 

  • Develop and execute SEO optimization strategies.

  • Support in the creation of presentation decks, one-pagers, and other sales-focused materials. 

  • Collaborate with key marketing roles (operations, events, lead generation, alliances, etc.) to facilitate productive cross-functional team operations. 

  • Contribute to the development of new marketing processes, documentation, training, and other resources.


Attributes and Skills:


  • Undergraduate degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or similar (required)

  • Experience working with Canva’s graphic design and video toolset (required; candidates with Final Cut Pro, Adobe, or other video production software skills will also be considered)

  • Experience creating content on technical topics (candidates without representative writing samples will NOT be considered)

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail (experience with Jira strongly preferred)

  • Knowledge of and/or experience creating content about Salesforce (strongly preferred)

  • Excellent people skills; must be comfortable interviewing high-level executives, technical experts, customers, etc.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-moving industry and environment
