With new technologies and our close partnership with rehabilitation clinics, patients get access to the most effective digital rehabilitation with concurrent personal care - independent of time and location. With Caspar Health, therapists create and share therapy plans with their patients, and both parties interact with each other remotely. 

As a (Senior) QA Engineer (all genders) at Caspar Health you will be working with the departments which are involved in the development of the product and ensure that best practices are implemented that impact the quality of the product development, product operation and defect management, apply best practices for auditing the product quality before, during and after release and publish product quality risks and KPI’s for product owners and business stakeholders.

Your Challenges
  • Create and enhance test cases and execute them with limited supervision.

  • Provide constructive feedback on test cases/test plans developed by others.

  • Review functional and non-functional requirements and specifications.

  • Produce test artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, and Test Metrics reports.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, analyze root cause with relevant tools, and log defects in the defect tracking system with adequate information.

  • Work closely with the development team and product owners to identify and resolve issues early in the development process.

  • Implement and maintain the test automation suite, including Cypress for web applications and a suitable mobile automation framework for React Native apps.

  • Conduct testing for both Web and React Native mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms.

  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing.

  • Enable early testing and defect prevention through shift-left testing practices.

  • Drive the team and company towards a culture of quality by promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Your profile
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in Software QE and QA.

  • You have experience in test planning, test design, and functionality testing.

  • You have experience in Web and Mobile test automation.

  • You have knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Appium etc..)

  • You have experience using Git and working with modern CI tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).

  • You have programming skills in JavaScript.

  • You have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • You have a solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts.

  • You possess a high attention to detail and a strong ability to set and maintain high-quality standards.

  • You have the ability to give and receive feedback constructively.

  • You have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

  • You have knowledge of Agile testing methodologies.

  • You have experience in mobile testing on iOS and Android.

  • You have experience testing RESTful APIs.

  • You have experience with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.

  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

  • ISTQB certification

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare IT, Business Informatics, or similar

  • Experience in non-functional testing (Performance/Security)

  • Basic knowledge of SQL (Postgres)
