Account Executive – Sales (MCA)
Overview of Role:
Salt Finance and its affiliate companies are the leaders in financial support and payment processing within many industries, including Cannabis and High-Risk Industries and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to lead our Merchant Cash Advance program across multiple business verticals. As an "AE of Sales” with our company, you are the advocate for our MCA products that we manage, develop and provide our customers and are responsible for developing and executing MCA sales processes and revenue goals across the varying areas of focus that we cover, including:
- E-Comm/Retail businesses
- Cannabis/High Risk businesses
- E-Comm Point of Sale businesses
- Cannabis/High Risk Grow & Cultivation businesses
Responsibilities of the Role:
Sales Operations and Revenue Growth
Drive MCA revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
Develop MCA pricing strategies and negotiation tactics to maximize profitability.
Strategy Development
Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives for the Merchant Cash Advance program.
Identify new market opportunities and potential for growth within existing markets.
Team Collaboration
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
Collaborate with marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment of MCA sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
Conduct market research and analysis on MCA related need in order to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Key Qualifications and Leadership Attributes of the Role:
Proven track record of success in AE/Director of sales positions, preferably as an MCA Sales Leader in Low/Medium/High Risk industries.
Ability to scale MCA accounts across multiple business verticals.
Experienced with MCA related needs that pertain to mergers/acquisitions.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in finance, sales, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
