Job Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic Vice President of Sales to take on a dual role as a "player/coach." This means not only setting the strategic direction but also actively participating in prospecting, closing deals and driving revenue. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire and lead a high-performing team while rolling up their sleeves to make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our company goals and positions us for long-term growth.
  • Revenue Generation: Personally engage with key accounts, prospects, and strategic opportunities to drive significant revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, service, and customer success teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, creating an environment that encourages growth, accountability, and innovation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the team.

  • Experience in workers compensation sales.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.

  • Base Pay $150,000 annually plus commissions based on net new revenue

Requirements
  • Strong experience selling Workers Compensation services such as: Case Management, Utilization Review and Bill Review, or similar.
  • A “hunter” mentality
  • Sales leadership and team-building experience
  • Prior experience creating sales strategies, reporting, and forecasting.
