What You Will Do - Essential Functions

As a Procurement Specialist, this role will play a key role in supporting the company’s procurement operations and purchasing activities. In collaboration with the Sr Dir, Procurement, this role will also help refine and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Sourcing and Purchasing: Assist in sourcing and purchasing of purchase orders and services to support business functions and objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Quotes: Request and review vendor quotes, comparing costs, terms, quality, and delivery schedules to identify the best options for the business.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders and the legal team to process contracts.

Who You Are

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
    • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed from home with company-provided equipment. Sitting for long periods of time is expected and use of fingers and hands for typing is necessary.
  • A quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls.
  • High-speed internet service (cable or fiber optic) with minimum download Speed of 20 Mbps, Upload Speed of 5 Mbps, and Maximum Latency of 100 milliseconds.
