Position: VP of Digital Marketing (Equity-Based)
Location: Remote
Category: Flexible, Part-time (15 hours) to Full-time (40 hours)
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Role Overview:
As the VP of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to elevate SOULCHI’s brand, increase customer acquisition, and enhance engagement across all digital channels. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving successful digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a cutting-edge digital marketing strategy that aligns with SOULCHI’s business objectives and brand vision.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation across all digital channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and more.
  • Lead the digital marketing team to ensure cohesive and effective execution of the strategy.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to produce high-quality digital assets that resonate with target audiences.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine campaigns and enhance performance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis and market trends.
  • Leverage analytics tools to gain deeper insights into customer behavior and campaign performance.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide opportunities for professional development to ensure the team remains at the forefront of digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to align digital marketing efforts with overall business goals.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
  • Monitor expenditures and ROI to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate with vendors as necessary.

Innovation and Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Implement innovative digital marketing techniques to maintain SOULCHI’s competitive edge.
  • Test and evaluate new digital marketing tools and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • (Preferred but not required)Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • (Highly desirable) Master’s degree.
  • 10 years or more experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and analytics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the health and wellness industry is a plus.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.
