The Senior Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in driving operational excellence through market analysis, supplier relationship management, and cost-effective purchasing decisions. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide Leadership with strategic insights and actionable recommendations that align with the company’s procurement goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent time management, communication, and analytical skills. The Senior Procurement Analyst will report directly to the Director of Procurement and support the Procurement Manager in executing procurement strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and effective vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement -
    • Analyze procurement data to uncover trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Continuously assess and improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Market Research & Vendor Management -
    • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, assess baselines, and support the bid process.
    • Collaborate with regional teams, practice leaders, and shared services to drive cost-saving initiatives and standardize procurement processes.
  • Process & Documentation Management -
    • Maintain and update procurement documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist in the integration of new procurement technologies to streamline workflows and improve documentation management.
  • Supplier Performance & Compliance -
    • Measure supplier performance, track compliance, and generate monthly vendor performance reports.
    • Ensure the integrity of the national contract repository and manage updates.
    • Resolve any product quality, delivery, or pricing issues with suppliers in a timely manner.
  • General Support -
    • Provide enthusiasm and willingness to take on additional duties as assigned.
    • Collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to achieving organizational procurement objectives.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, vendor negotiations, sourcing, and data analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of procurement processes, best practices, and industry terminology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear and effective documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.

The salary range is $90K to 110K per year.
