Job description

Our client in the engineering industry is seeking an Engineering Technologist to join their team. As an Engineering Technologist, you will be part of the Electrical Distribution System Improvements team supporting various projects.

The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency, leadership skills, planning and organization ability, problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills, and decision-making skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technologist Assc

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Pay Range: 32/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Perform engineering studies and detailed scoping for projects related to Electrical Distribution System Improvements.
  • Follow policies, practices, standards, and rules of the company and those regulations and procedures required externally
  • Maintain required records to support assignments and prepares special reports for tests, equipment performance, projects and other reports as assigned
  • Seeks opportunity to work beyond routine assignments by solving problems of light complexity


What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering technology in a program accredited by ABET
  • Ability to work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary
  • Develops decision-making skills under guidance of higher level employees
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Participation in professional and business organizations is encouraged
