WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Sales and Marketing Manager at Tracx, you’ll own our new client acquisition strategy. Set growth goals, refine sales processes, and direct our team to exceed targets and expand our market presence. You will lead the development and daily execution of a marketing strategy that amplifies brand reach, awareness, and market share. You’ll also lead by example, actively participating in sales and marketing processes to attract and secure high-value accounts. Reporting to the President, the desired candidate must have a drive for results, knack for motivating others, passion for data analysis, and impeccable decision quality.
 

  • Establish forecasts based on company goals and execute a sales and marketing strategy to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Hire, develop, and motivate sales team members to exceed objectives, with an eye on productivity and continual improvement.
  • Create commission plans to financially incentivize performance.
  • Set and maintain an annual sales budget .
  • Develop an end-to-end sales process that maximizes win rates, including effective outreach sequences, communications, product demonstrations, and pricing presentations.
  • Maintain accurate pipelines to demonstrate how you will meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Lead the sales team in sourcing new opportunities through existing contacts and outbound strategy.
  • Actively participate in outbound sales activities to generate high-quality opportunities, including securing larger, enterprise deals.
  • Close deals directly with key clients, ensuring the acquisition of high-value accounts .
  • Work closely with the sales team to refine strategies for closing larger deals and expanding our presence in key markets.
  • Track results obsessively. Set and monitor team KPIs, ensure accurate data entry into our CRM, and analyze results by reporting regularly on industries, competitors, conversion rates, and more.
  • Actively own a vibrant competitors list. Monitor and share insights on industry and product trends.
  • Serve as project manager for the marketing function, setting clear priorities, maintaining a detailed marketing calendar, and ensuring all campaigns and initiatives are delivered on time.
  • Own the analysis of marketing results and leverage quantitative data to optimize campaigns continually.
  • Own the content strategy, SEO optimization, and improvements to our website to make the website an effective tool for lead generation and a strong reflection of our brand
  • Track key metrics like lead generation, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition to assess ROI.
  • Foster partnerships with industry organizations and thought leaders to promote our brands and uncover sales opportunities.
  • Work alongside our President to establish strategic pricing structures for long-term profitability, retention, and growth.
  • Keep abreast of other departments’ priorities and be willing to help with key projects as needed.
     

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3-5 years of consultative software sales and marketing experience, including 2+ years of management experience
  • A strong work ethic, drive for results, and the capacity to succeed in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding annual quota and managing a successful sales team
  • Ability to direct others in a manner that drive results, brings out the best in people, and maintains a two-way dialogue
  • An outside-of-the-box thinker with the ability to take real-time data, adjust, and make impactful informed business decisions
  • Solution selling experience preferred, with ability to focus on return-on-investment benefits
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in complex situations with both internal and external groups and to educate others on negotiation techniques 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to share that knowledge with team members
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of Hubspot is an asset
  • Knowledge of SEO and website optimization best practices is an asset
