Alludo is looking for an experienced Copywriter to collaborate with the Content Marketing teams on content for Alludo’s consumer-facing websites, e-books, PPC ads, banners, email, and more. You will make a meaningful contribution to the Content program. This role requires editorial experience along with strong research and SEO skills.
Working with fellow writers, editors, and our in-house experts, you'll use your knowledge of creative copywriting to create compelling optimized content for a variety of platforms.

As a Copywriter, you will:
- Write for brands in regulated industries about highly technical topics but doesn’t let the fear of red tape stop a good idea from coming to life.
- Craft engaging and informative content that's optimized for search engines, PPC and other paid media ads, email, and more.
- Understand the role of style guides and playbook(s) in content creation, as well as when to strategically break the rules.
- Work for a variety of different brands in a high-volume environment. You should be able to maintain a pace of (1) one 1,200-3,000-word piece per day with additional heavy editing tasks as needed.
- Prioritize your workload in Asana based on business needs and your own capabilities, working ahead when possible.
- Use Microsoft 365/Office suite of applications to create, edit, and interact with content including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and other applications as needed.
- Pride yourself on being a self-starter and capable of learning, researching, and understanding new topics primarily on your own (but with support from subject matter experts when needed).
- Be proactive with sharing ideas, asking questions, and making suggestions.
- Review, improve, and edit existing content from across multiple departments like Product, Sales, and Customer support.
- Execute content marketing with performance in mind. Every piece of content should be focused on achieving revenue, leads, or retention.
- Demonstrate an ability to elevate every assignment you work on from social copy to glossary pages to video scripts.
- Inspire those around them and push against the paradigm of mediocrity that plagues the industry.
- Comfortable writing a sales aid or helping out with content that is a bit more technical at times – whatever the team needs.
What You Bring to the Team:
- You have a portfolio with creative, relevant long-form and short-form work for which you were primarily responsible is required. Your portfolio should reflect work with elegance and intelligence.
- You love writing — of all shapes and sizes. From navigating a headline’s tight character limit to crafting a detailed video script, every word deserves consideration.
- You love getting into the nitty-gritty of topics. If you loved writing research papers in school, then you’ve got the tools and mindset we’re looking for.
- You’re comfortable with turning a specific project around in minutes or spending a day brainstorming on a blank page to get to the perfect.
- You’re perfectly capable of working solo and managing your own workload but are keen to collaborate with a team of writers, designers, and subject matter experts to take ideas further.
- You understand that copy and design work hand in hand, and you’ll work with your art director partner and our team of designers to elevate every concept.
- You listen to data and will happily seek it and use it to guide your strategy and message.
- You have an understanding of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and basic HTML.
