Job description

Purpose 

As Product Analytics Lead, you will define and drive the measurement strategy for all products in the Kueski ecosystem, ensuring that data is leveraged effectively for strategic decisions, cross-functional communication, and product enhancements. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to cultivate a strong culture of data instrumentation, insights, and experimentation, aligning with Kueski's short, mid, and long-term goals. This role requires developing robust analytics solutions and fostering a data-first mindset across the organization.

    • Main objectives for this position:
  • Work cross-functionally to identify the biggest opportunities to improvecustomer experiences and reduce operational effort / costs, and then implementprocess or product changes to fix them 
  • Drive Product Measurement and Utilization: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define, implement, and refine product measurement strategies across the ecosystem.
  • Ensure that data-driven insights are effectively utilized to inform decisions related to communication, customer experience, and product improvements. 
  • Partner with engineering managers and product managers to define and implement complex technical solutions for measurement.
  • Monitor the performance of the products, ensuring high-quality monitoring that yields insights on user behavior, fosters accountability, and reinforces a culture of data driven product development. 

    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute analytics frameworks to measure product performance, user behavior, and key metrics.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate analytics tools and systems into the product development lifecycle. Ensure seamless data collection and reporting mechanisms are in place to support ongoing product improvement.
  • Build dashboards and datasets using tools such as Amplitude, Tableau, Preset, Atlan and Databricks
  • Be proficient in SQL and Python and creating datasets/ETLs
  • Partner with upstream engineering teams to define and source critical data signals.
  • Mentor junior analysts, instilling best practices and fostering career growth.
  • Communicate findings, trends, and progress against KPIs to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead enablement sessions to empower stakeholders to leverage analytics products effectively.
  • Write documentation to institutionalize best practices and improve data accessibility.
  • Provide thought leadership to the product and engineering organization to help drive a data-first mindset. Foster a culture where decisions are driven by insights derived from product analytics, and where continuous learning from data is a core value. 
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders, both independently and in collaboration with DSEs and AEs embedded within product teams.
  • Collaborate with DSEs & analysts across the org to analyze data, metrics, and user behavior trends to inform strategic decisions, improve customer experiences, reduce operational inefficiencies, and enhance product features. Ensure that product and business strategies are grounded in data and analytics, driving better outcomes for the organization.
  • You are comfortable dealing with messy datasets and going “outside your lane” when needed to understand how a process or systems can produce the data you need.

    • Position Requirements:
  • 5+ years product analytics experience, owning end-to-end product analytics pipelines and product analytics tooling (such as datadog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Expertise in querying structured datasets using SQL and scripting ETLs in Python.
  • Technical knowledge to define and implement complex analytics solutions that enable the data-driven development of world-class products. 
  • Experience in designing and mapping processes, identifying opportunities forefficiency gains within the financial sector 
  • Hyper-organized and strong attention to detail with a positive approach tochallenges 
  • Be able to assess and implement quickly 
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing high-performing analytics teams preferred
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
  • Experience with web / mobile development technologies 
  • English: Advanced
