We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Audit Innovation- Data and Analytics to join our Internal Audit Analytics & Innovation team. We are looking for an auditor of the future to join our Audit Analytics & Innovation team where they will be applying advanced data & analytics using technology and tools to convey key insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA OR Lake Mary, FL – Hybrid- 3 days in-office OR Based At Home.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Work with analytics & innovation team to design self-service data products that enable internal audit to report out on audit key performance indicators more efficiently and effectively
  • Support innovation and design of new tools by understanding the audit lifecycle process
  • Develop strategic solutions to aggregate, analyze and visualize data using a variety of technologies
  • Gather requirements that help develop web services and web applications to make analytics solutions more accessible
  • Assess data quality to understand potential of data sources, limitations, or issues
  • Effective analysis and evaluation connecting the dots and producing actionable insights
  • Clearly conveying thoughts, ideas, and suggestions with stakeholders while, modelling excellent people skills with the ability to listen empathetically in any situation
  • Embrace the flexibility to adapt to an ever-evolving environment that will accelerate with the addition of technological advances and constant business change.
  • Having the ability to navigate varying business practices and communication styles, ensuring thorough and respectful audits across different geographical and organizational cultures
  • Understand, interpret, and use data to support decision making and problem-solving using technology tools and platforms
  • Translate specific domain knowledge and business processes into data & analytics approaches
  • Understand AI/machine learning models for advanced analytics and prompt engineering for fully leveraging generative AI
  • Communicate data insights and narratives that convey key messages and actionable recommendations to stakeholders

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • 12-15 years of total work experience preferred. Prior years of experience in the Data Analytics field, preferably within Financial Services.
  • At least 5 years of experience in any computer programming language, preferably Python.
  • Understanding and familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlikview.
  • Familiarity with software development practices, including version control, agile/scrum methodologies, requirements definition and implementation, testing, and build/deployment processes.
  • Highly driven and motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and take the initiative to improve personal performance.
