We are a highly reputable Technical Console Furniture company seeking a rare and exceptional team mate. This Regional Sales Representative will develop and manage a vast multi-state central NE territory (Pennsylvania to Maine, Ontario and Quebec). You must be strategic and excellent at developing new business. You can be based anywhere in this territory but should live near a major airport.


The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for some lead generation, facilitating face to face meetings with prospects, managing the sales cycle, closing deals and generating revenue in your assigned territory. This position is perfect for someone who knows no stranger, who loves a challenge, and who will persist until results are reached. This is a fun, supportive environment and although you will be working remotely, you will be a part of a wonderful, collaborative team.


Daily Duties include:

  • Prospect and develop this market through calling supplied list of potential clients, references from existing clients, warm leads from our SDR team, networking with industry partners, and participation in industry events such as trade shows and professional association meetings.
  • Accurate management of Salesforce database including daily updates of all customer interaction (customer meetings, phone calls, emails), updates of progress made in the stages of the sales cycle, and all information required to accurately forecast production schedules and business activity.
  • Onsite Sales Calls are required and must be conducted expeditiously and professionally. This is a traveling role.  You are also expected to provide timely and accurate field dimensions and participate in helping clients through our detailed equipment list to avoid installation “surprises” and costly call backs.
  • Client Consulting. It is your responsibility to help educate the customer in how to evaluate workspace needs, determine the appropriate features, and resolve their challenges.
  • Liaison with the Design Department and project-assigned designers. The goal is to keep the design team accurately informed and highly connected with the customer as you continue generating new business.
Requirements

 Here’s what you need to be successful in this role:

  • Willingness to be taught OUR sales process. This over-rides your experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or commensurate industry experience is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 2 years outside sales experience in business-to-business is preferred.
  • Prior experience selling to hospitals and command centers (Utility, Airports, etc).  
  • Proven history as a sales professional achieving President's Club and/or recently exceeding sales quotas year over year in a minimum 2-year period.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, developing metrics and dashboards, and guiding sales process through the use of CRM tools and methods. Because this drives our company departments, this is critical to this role. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a current US passport, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • This role requires apx 50-75% travel with 3-8 overnights monthly.
  • This position will pay a non-negotiable base salary of $55,000 (new to sales) or $70,000 (experience outside sales) plus uncapped, tiered commission potential based on gross sales. OTE for this territory is $100K year one. New sales employees experience total earnings of apx $85-100,000 and established sales employees (2+ years) of apx $95-130K. 
  • You can be based anywhere in this territory but should live near a major airport.
