We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive the success of our product offerings through strategic marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, with a particular focus on improving the onboarding experience and driving customer adoption. You will also gather critical customer and market insights, while conducting competitive analysis to ensure our products maintain a leading edge in the market. This position requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, customer empathy, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Onboarding and Adoption:
- Lead initiatives to streamline the onboarding journey, ensuring new users quickly realize product value.
- Collaborate with product and customer success teams to refine onboarding workflows, in-product tutorials, and documentation.
- Develop strategies to drive user activation by identifying key success milestones and building guiding campaigns.
- Work with product management to design features that reduce friction in early product usage.
- Create campaigns and initiatives to promote feature discovery and usage among new and existing customers.
- Analyze product usage data to identify underutilized features and design educational content (e.g., webinars, in-product messaging) to drive deeper engagement.
Product Messaging and Positioning:
- Own the development of clear, differentiated messaging that communicates the product’s unique value across various target audiences.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure messaging is aligned with product capabilities and customer needs.
- Develop distinct product positioning for different customer segments, industries, and use cases.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Lead the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, customer success).
- Define the strategy for each launch, including key messages, target audience, and marketing channels.
- Equip internal teams with resources and training to effectively sell and support new product features (e.g., sales training, demo scripts, battlecards).
- Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and sales to align on the product vision and go-to-market strategy.
Customer and Market Insights:
- Gather customer feedback and conduct market research to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Identify market trends, potential customer segments, and emerging needs through in-depth research.
- Develop detailed customer personas based on research and customer data to improve targeting in messaging and campaigns.
Competitive Analysis:
- Track competitors and conduct analyses to shape product positioning and marketing tactics.
- Provide insights to sales teams through competitive intelligence materials like battlecards, ensuring effective responses to market challenges.
Pricing:
- Coordinate pricing changes with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and execution.
- Develop and implement communication strategies tailored to both internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring transparency and alignment. I
Product Feedback Loops:
- Establish regular feedback loops with customers, sales, and customer success teams to gather insights on the product experience, identifying areas for improvement and feature requests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on go-to-market campaigning, product adoption, and onboarding.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value and strategy across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Customer Success and Partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to monitor, evaluate, and iterate on strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the SaaS industry.
- Familiarity with translation management systems or localization platforms.
- Experience in a B2B environment with a global customer base.
